The challenge was to communicate that this institution, founded in 1804, had charted a bold new course with the release of a strategic plan. Our solution was to focus on the biggest news of the year, the strategic plan, by structuring the report around its key ideas. For casual readers, we streamlined body copy by employing bullets and lists, and we telegraphed main ideas with quotations, in display type, from high-profile individuals associated with the institution.
